We’ve been adapting the player interfaces to better fit how DJs actually use them. These are practical changes based on feedback, plus a few experiments we’re testing in the wild.

Inline promo players

Internal player UI mockup

We’re now displaying the promos that Kato picks out for DJs on a single page, in one long list.

This makes it easy to open your picks, press play, and keep listening as it moves from one promo to the next. The continuous play flow has been a consistent request.

”Rating mode” for other picks

Sometimes too much choice can leave you feeling stuck. That was the starting point for this mode.

It plays one selected release at a time (from Juno Download, Beatport, or Bandcamp) and lets you preview, click through to buy, and leave a quick rating. In early testing, the one-at-a-time flow seemed to make it easier to decide what to do next, and it naturally generates clearer feedback on picks over time.

The UI mockups show the direction we’re heading in, but we’ll keep iterating based on what works.
